Respiratory Care Practitioner - Providence Anchorage
Under supervision, the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. Responsible for assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions.

We are hiring for Respiratory Care Practitioner positions in the Respiratory Therapy Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.
- Full time, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift, 36 Hours Per Week
- Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed
$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Requirements
- National Registered Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or
- National Certified Respiratory Therapist - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 5 years of experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy
Qualifications
Preferred: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $39.22 - $60.90 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
