Respiratory Care Practitioner Lead (RRT)

About the role

Oversee shift operations, coordinate staff activities, and provide clinical expertise in respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assigned staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate staff performance.
• Provide technical or clinical support and perform respiratory care duties as needed.
• Oversee training and orientation of team members.
• Assist in emergency interventions.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; RRT-NPS credential to be obtained within one year.
• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license - Missouri Division of Professional Registration.

Physical Requirements

• Constant speech, standing, and walking.
• Frequent lifting (0-25 lbs).
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, patient handling, bending, and movement activities.
