Lead Respiratory Therapist RRT
Job Summary
The Lead Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary/pulmonary care services in routine, clinical, and emergency settings according to specific physician orders, department policies and procedures. In the absence of the Director of Respiratory Therapy, provides day-to-day leadership to the department, and performs a variety of management duties. Supports the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care through activities focusing on departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Care / Therapy
- RRT - State Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in respiratory care
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
