Respiratory Care Practitioner I

About the role

This position involves applying specialized respiratory care knowledge to assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary issues within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies such as medical gases, humidity, aerosol, hyperinflation, and bronchial hygiene
• Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Respond effectively in emergency situations
• Provide expert respiratory interventions and support emergency care
• Contribute to patient management in a diverse, collaborative environment

Requirements

• Accredited Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
• NBRC registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• BLS CPR certification
• Demonstrated clinical competency in respiratory systems

Qualifications

Both new graduates and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply. Specialized experience in neonatal, pediatric, or ECMO is welcome.
