Role Overview: The Respiratory Care Practitioner conducts pulmonary-function diagnostic tests to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating pulmonary disorders. Key Responsibilities: Performs tests such as lung capacity, diffusion, and blood oxygen levels.Explains procedures to patients and ensures accurate documentation in medical records.Oversees inventory, calibrates, and maintains diagnostic equipment, recognizing malfunctions. Qualifications & Skills: Associates Degree required.Credentialed as a certified or registered respiratory therapist (CRT or RRT).Preferably with 1-year experience in respiratory care.
