Respiratory Care Practitioner (CRT)

We are looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential to provide comprehensive respiratory therapy care across all patient age groups and acuity levels. Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, individualizing therapy, performing patient education, managing ventilators, and conducting bedside lab tests like ABGs. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, responding to emergency situations, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patient safety by following hospital policies and infection control procedures. Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a completion certificate from an approved program, licensure as an RCP, and certification as a CRT. Additional certifications like BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS are required within specified timeframes. Ideal candidates possess at least one year of respiratory therapy experience, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
