About the role
The Respiratory Care Practitioner must consistently meet or exceed customer expectations by assessing, treating, and/or testing patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols. They must document patient responses to such and integrate clinical expertise to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and/or test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician orders and protocols.
- Document patient responses to treatments and procedures.
- Integrate clinical expertise to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program (prefer A.S. degree).
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or RRT, Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP), and Basic Life Support Provider (BLS).
- PREFER PALS, & NRP certifications.
- ACLs may be required depending on assigned department.
Other Information
- This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
Education
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program (prefer A.S. degree)
Certifications/Licenses

- Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP)
- Basic Life Support Provider (BLS)
