Respiratory Care Practitioner - CRT

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and provide respiratory care to patients, administer prescribed therapies, and develop individualized care plans based on diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and determine appropriate treatment plans
• Administer respiratory therapies in accordance with physician orders, policies, and guidelines
• Monitor and document patient conditions and response to treatments
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and evaluate treatment outcomes
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and community resources
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, manage supplies, and ensure sterilization procedures
• Respond to medical emergencies and rapid response situations
• Participate in departmental duties and ensure safety protocols

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Current professional licensure and certifications, including BLS, CRT, and Respiratory Care Practitioner license relevant to the state
• Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, walking, and working in a constant alert state
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
