Respiratory Care Practitioner - CRT

About the role

Provides respiratory therapy services and manages medical equipment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and deliver treatments per physician orders.
• Evaluate patient progress and educate patients and caregivers on equipment use.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate with healthcare providers regarding treatment modifications.
• Maintain departmental supplies and ensure safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• Valid respiratory therapy certification and BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Physical requirements include frequent walking, lifting, reaching, and strong communication skills.

• Strong assessment, communication, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in diverse environments.
