Respiratory Care Practitioner

About the role

Under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services and upon the request of the physician, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and illness.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains respiratory care equipment according to departmental policies.
• Participates in in-service education and quality assurance programs.
• Demonstrates behavior practices reflecting the hospital's Standards of Conduct.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy, AMA accredited, or Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, AMA accredited.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
