Role Overview

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) provides direct pulmonary care to patients in a hospital setting, adhering to healthcare standards and regulations. This PRN position involves day shifts and requires delivering quality respiratory therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and administering respiratory treatments
• Monitoring and adjusting therapy plans based on patient needs
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and clinical guidelines
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

• Maryland Registered Respiratory Therapist License and MDBPQA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Certification as Respiratory Therapy Technician
• CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Formal knowledge equivalent to an associate's degree with less than one year of experience
