Respiratory Care Prac-RRT
Under medical direction, provides treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardio-pulmonary system.
Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care treatments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with cardio-pulmonary conditions.
- Manage and control patient care plans under medical supervision.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in respiratory care.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care (AA or BS degree accepted).
- Current Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner License or eligibility to obtain one.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within one year of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Pay
$31.94 to $54.87 per hour, based on experience.
