Resource Pool RN - ICU - Full Time - Nights

About the Role

The Resource Float Pool RN supports ICU services across multiple specialties, including CVICU, SICU, and MICU, providing care for critically ill patients and adapting to various hospital units based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation using evidence-based practices.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate effectively using SBAR and handoff methods.
• Participate in discharge planning and safety initiatives.
• Mentor peers and participate in staff meetings and quality improvement projects.
• Maintain professional development through certifications and involvement in professional organizations.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months for ICU roles.
• Ongoing education to meet certification standards.
