About the role
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care
- Ensure patient rights and confidentiality
- Coordinate with other departments
- Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members
- Maintain professional accountability
- Adhere to organizational standards and values
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience
- Current RN license (Missouri or Compact State)
- Strong critical care, assessment, and communication skills
Certifications
- BLS (within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS
- Any additional unit-specific credentials
Key duties
- Work in a 19-bed Critical Care Unit that includes ICU and Transitional Care
- Care for patients with diverse critical illnesses
- Support patient transitions
