Resource Pool RN - ICU - Full Time - Nights

About the role

The Resource Float Pool RN supports ICU services across multiple specialties, including CVICU, SICU, and MICU, providing care to critically ill patients with diverse medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop and prioritize care plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using SBAR and handoff methods.
• Document care accurately in electronic records.
• Mentor peers and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to professional development through meetings, research, and community activities.
• Maintain competency in point-of-care testing and adhere to organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional growth activities.

Requirements

• Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• BSN within five years of hire, if applicable.
• Strong communication skills, cultural competence, and adaptability.
