Role & Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patients, performing procedures, administering medications, and monitoring responses. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized care plans. Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments, ensuring understanding. Act as an advocate for patients, promoting positive clinical outcomes and an outstanding patient experience. Document care accurately in medical records and respond promptly to patient needs.
Key Duties
- Assess patient status during admission and shifts
- Perform procedures and ensure proper documentation
- Provide medication administration and monitor therapeutic responses
- Educate patients and families, translating complex medical info
- Respond swiftly to patient requests and changing conditions
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure in the practice state or a compact state
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 6 months), PALS (within 6 months), NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days)
- Ability to assess patient conditions and respond effectively
- Compassionate, proactive, and excellent communication skills
