Resource Planners

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join the East Region Resource Planning Team based in Dundee. The successful candidates will be responsible for the effective planning and maintenance of staff rosters, providing a high level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain staff rosters
• Provide administrative support for resource utilisation
• Operate department systems using Microsoft applications, including Excel
• Work across a wide and varied geographical area, including unsocial hours and weekends
• Handle sensitive information with professional integrity and awareness of the Data Protection Act

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Excel
• Flexible approach to work, including availability for unsocial hours
• Awareness of the Data Protection Act and high degree of professional integrity

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Resource Planning or Scheduling department is advantageous
• Right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship (NHS Scotland is not licensed to issue certificates of sponsorship)
