Resource Nurse

About the role

Resource Nurse for Assisted Living communities, covering an assigned region. Work with Executive Directors and Resident Care Coordinators (RCCs) to complete tasks and provide coverage when the RCC is on vacation, sick, or the position is vacant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quarterly pharmacy reviews
• Manage Risk Watch initiatives
• Assist with admissions and re-admissions
• Handle routine lab draws, review completion, and document results
• Notify Primary Care Physicians (PCP) and obtain new orders
• Coordinate in-house physician visits and rounds
• Enter physician orders
• Cover for the RCC during absences or vacancies

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Reliable transportation
