Resource Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain an understanding of practice portfolio and status of each engagement
• Maintain an understanding of key skills needed, team members’ career aspirations and current skill sets, to align employees to engagement staffing needs
• Work with the delivery teams to understand demand and determine appropriate staffing
• Develop staffing strategies to optimize employee utilization and optimize engagement profitability
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate for current and future engagements; develop hiring plans for your assigned practice
• Utilize Resource Management tools such as Assignment Tracker, Allocation Tracker, Skills Inventory, and Practice Portfolio Tracker
• Utilize Resource Management systems to generate and analyze reports
• Report utilization, demand, and supply metrics to stakeholders
• Ensure timely submission of timesheets for your assigned practies
• Contribute to development and documentation of standard Resource Management Methodologie

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, HR Management, or a similar field
• Project Management Certification Course, Scrum Master Certification a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience in roles similar to Resource Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Scrum Master
• Technical skills such as project planning, project scheduling, data analysis, data visualization (excel), jira/Confluence/Smartsheet experience
• Interpersonal interaction skills (effective communication, negotiation, collaboration, leadership)
• Managerial and time-management skills
• Excellent decision making skills
• Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Qualifications

The US-based salary range for this full-time position is $68,000-$78,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
