This role is based at either our Madison, Wisconsin or Greenfield, Indiana site.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares daily and weekly schedules for assigned product lines or departments and supports the overall master schedule.
  • Communicates regularly with Study Direction and operational staff to adjust schedules for changes in study design, resource availability, or staffing.
  • Provides workload support in a resource planning function and learns to support multiple global service lines (90% of role).
  • Develops intermediate knowledge in interpreting study designs for scheduling requirements and reviews design changes.
  • Gains basic knowledge of systems used in core scheduling functions.
  • Supports harmonization across global sites.
  • Updates and maintains proposal and schedule information in management information databases.
  • Performs tasks in support of global scheduling workloads as required.
  • Assists in producing, interpreting, and analyzing routine capacity reports.
  • Monitors capacity utilization for supported service lines and guides operational leadership.
  • Provides basic information about departmental workloads, processes, and operations to internal clients and management.
  • Follows training manuals for Resource Management functions.

Requirements

  • 4 or more years of pre-clinical operational experience in the industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems, databases, and relevant applications.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Life Science/Analytical Science or similar business and general operating procedures.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills; excellent oral and written communication.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and consistent accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with customers and operational contacts.
  • Proven time management and analytical business skills.
