About the role

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Absorb and relay information about the hotel and its amenities to guests
• Able to multi-task and work in a high traffic area
• Absorb and relay information about the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area
• Assist in booking golf arrangements, dining reservations and other activities during/prior to the guest's arrival
• Absorb and relay local insights and expert recommendations to guests
• Assist with administrative duties
• Absorb and relay information regarding hotel facilities to guests
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area
• Previous customer-related experience required
• Outstanding guest service skills with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Window applications
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Qualifications

• Knowledge of POS systems and hotel software, such as Opera Cloud, is an asset.

Skills

• Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Window applications
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
