Pay Explained

Qualified Support Worker rate: £28,650 per annum (£13.77 per hour), with earning potential of £33,435.04 including sleep-in payments based on two sleep-ins per week. To qualify, applicants must hold one of: a Social Work Degree, a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Residential Care, or a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children and Adults).

Support Worker rate (for those without the above qualifications): £27,976 per annum (£13.45 per hour), with earning potential of £32,761.04 including sleep-in payments. Sleep-ins are paid at £46.01 per sleep-in. Both salaries include a £1,400.00 attendance bonus, paid quarterly.

About Lantern House

Lantern House is a warm and welcoming 2-bedded residential home located in Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield. The home sits between the quiet area of Skegby and the busier Sutton in Ashfield main street, close to the Designer Village and with easy access to the A38 and M1. There are many things to do in the local area, providing lots of opportunities for days out. The home currently has two young residents with distinct personalities—one enjoys gaming and their own space, the other loves to go out and keep busy. The home has a nurturing atmosphere, with a strong focus on giving young people childhood experiences, opportunities for the future, and building strong positive relationships. Young people enjoy going to the beach, getting their nails done, day trips, arts and crafts, board games, gaming, and music.
