Residential Whole Loan Credit Analyst, Vice President

About the role

The Residential Whole Loan Credit Analyst (VP Level) position at Annaly Capital Management, Inc. is seeking a professional with Non-QM loan experience. Key responsibilities include managing acquisition timelines, reviewing loan-level scenario and exception requests, and interacting with correspondent partners.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for specific originators to ensure post close diligence is completed in a timely manner.
• Review credit exception requests and scenarios, determining acceptability or denial and placing conditions if necessary.
• Maintain awareness of market guidelines and suggest enhancements to Onslow Bay's post-close process.
• Communicate Onslow Bay underwriting guidelines to sellers' employees, including loan officers and underwriters.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in whole loan underwriting, collateral, funding, and post close review processes.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Desired characteristics include the ability to manage multiple projects, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility requirements include willingness to submit to a background investigation, unrestricted work authorization, and the ability to work additional hours as needed.
• Prioritization and project management skills are preferred, especially for West Coast remote candidates or those able to work in Annaly’s Dallas office three days a week.
