About the role
Riverbend Community Mental Health is a leading private, nonprofit organization in Central New Hampshire that provides high-quality, specialized behavioral health and addiction treatment. They are seeking compassionate, energetic Residential Rehabilitation Specialists to join their dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Guide individuals through daily household tasks, meal preparation, and personal care (ADLs).
- Empower independence by working one-on-one to help individuals develop skills, regain independence, and achieve their personal goals.
- Facilitate recovery by assisting with residential activities, implementing service plans, and providing support in daily living.
- Ensure safety and care by managing medication according to NH guidelines and providing a safe, secure environment for residents.
Requirements

- Reliability, patience, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Previous experience in mental health or direct care setting is a plus!
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Rehabilitation, or Human Services is required.
- A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,000/300,000 are essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, allowing us to meet the needs of those we serve.
- CPR certification is required, or a willingness to obtain certification as part of your professional development.
- MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification is necessary, or the ability to pursue this certification.
- He-M 1202 (Medication Management) certification is required, or the capability to achieve this certification.
