Residential Specialist

About the role

The Residential Specialist position at HCRS offers a starting hourly wage range of $20-$23.25. Employees receive 4 weeks of paid time off (pro-rated), 12 sick days, and 9 holidays annually. Additional benefits include a $2,000 sign-on bonus, shift differential, weekend differential, and generous holiday pay.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing independent living skills and emotional regulation skills aligned with their treatment goals.
• Work with individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• Ensure a positive and respectful environment for residents.
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, or a preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
• A valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
