Residential Specialist
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20-$23.25 per hour. Includes shift differential, additional weekend differential, and generous holiday pay!
About the role
As a Residential Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop the independent living skills and emotional regulation skills that are integral to accomplishing their identified treatment goals. Not only does this role involve building strong connections and meaningful relationships, it also gives our staff the opportunity to bring their interests and talents to work!
Responsibilities
- Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop independent living skills and emotional regulation skills.
- Build strong connections and meaningful relationships with residents.
- Bring personal interests and talents to work to support residents' treatment goals.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED or preferably, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or another human services field.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
- A positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set mutual boundaries.
- Ability to work evenings, overnights and weekends.
