About the role

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Residential Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining security within a residential property.

Responsibilities

  • Create positive, professional relationships with homeowners, residents, guests, vendors, and contractors while providing exceptional customer service and genuine Aloha Spirit.
  • Maintain order and enforce building rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Escalate contentious situations or concerns to Management as appropriate.
  • Serve as a front-line security presence by monitoring access, verifying authorized visitors, and preventing unauthorized entry or solicitation.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and conduct routine patrols of residential floors, storage areas, parking garages, mechanical rooms, amenities, and outdoor areas. Document patrols and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
  • Respond to resident and guest requests, service needs, and questions, following through to resolution whenever possible.
  • Receive, organize, record, and securely store packages and parcels for residents, guests, and Management.
  • Escort authorized guests, workers, homeowners, and visitors to residences or other areas of the property as requested.
  • Manage the porte cochère by directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, staging vehicles, opening doors, assisting with luggage, and explaining parking options. Operate valet services as needed.
  • Provide attentive service throughout the 7th-floor amenities, including assisting with reservations, events, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness, monitor supplies, report equipment issues, and create work orders as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies including fire, medical incidents, flooding, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, and other security situations. Provide assistance, protect incident scenes, and complete required reports.
  • Manage contractor access by verifying authorization, maintaining logs, and documenting work performed.
  • Manage Loading Dock access, including checking in delivery companies, coordinating vehicle access, and maintaining the Moves and Deliveries Schedule.
  • Maintain accurate logs, files, and records related to building operations and security.
  • Communicate effectively with team members using two-way radios, including the phonetic alphabet and radio codes.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and provide coverage for other stations during breaks or as needed.

Requirements

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Association’s computer applications.
  • Must be familiar with a range of vehicles and know how to drive and park at an effective and acceptable level.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training and certification will be provided after a 90-day probationary period.
  • Hawaii Guard Card preferred; training and certification will be provided after a 90-day probationary period. Must be willing and able to obtain a guard card.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to maneuver a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) preferred, and an acceptable driving record as defined in the company’s Acceptable Driving Record Policy.
  • Experience in high-end customer service roles.
  • Experience at a 4 or 5-star hotel or luxury condominium preferred.
  • Able to handle excessive standing, frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and other repetitive motions.
  • Must have manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and the ability to safely lift 50lbs.

Pay

$22/hour

Schedule

  • Full-time; Contract
  • 2:00pm to 10:30pm or 3:00pm to 11:30pm
