Residential Services Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage dietary services including menu planning, ordering food, and preparing meals and snacks according to residents' diet needs.
• Deep clean residents’ bedrooms and bathrooms and other assigned cleaning tasks to maintain a clean environment.
• Order supplies for the residential unit and program.
• Support coaching duties as assigned.
• Provide support services to individuals with behavioral health issues, recognizing trauma-informed care.
• Complete support services to promote maximum independent functioning of clients.
• Ensure compliance with USDA requirements and implement them as necessary.
• Conduct quarterly surveys regarding food provided through the facility.
• Complete all necessary paperwork within allotted time frames.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in dietary services.
• Experience in sanitation and/or housekeeping.
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, moving furniture, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Ability to properly clean and deep clean residents’ living areas.
• Use of a computer.
• Able to easily ambulate to get in/out of vehicles and transfer goods.
