Easterseals PORT Health, a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia, is seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated full-time Residential Regional Manager to lead a team of caregivers across multiple group homes in your assigned region that provides care for individuals living with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.

About the role

As a Residential Regional Manager (RM) for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), you will provide supervision and oversight of the team in your assigned region of Residential Group Homes. The RM ensures quality services for home residents and collaborates with MCO’s on requirements. The RM travels monthly to each of the 10 group homes in their region and additionally as needed; this position provides after-hours/weekend on-call support. The Western Region is comprised of MH/IDD adult group homes with a caseload of 10 sites/managers, spanning from High Point, NC to W. Jefferson, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and oversight of the team in your assigned region of Residential Group Homes
  • Handle hiring, training, development, supervision, and monitoring of staff
  • Ensure compliance for both staff and individuals served
  • Collaborate with MCO’s on requirements
  • Travel monthly to each of the 10 group homes in your region and as needed
  • Provide after-hours/weekend on-call support
  • Oversee facilities maintenance and inspections
  • Manage budget and financial responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an approved accredited institution with a psychology or social work focus
  • Qualifications for a NC mental health qualified professional
  • 5-7 years of Residential Management experience with multiple locations
  • Valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Strong clinical skills and working knowledge of residential management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and coach others remotely

Schedule

40-hour work week with flexibility to meet program needs, including evenings and weekends. Accessibility during normal business hours on weekdays and 24/7 on-call support.
