Residential Recovery Services - Recovery Specialist

About the role

The Oasis program partner's with Harrington Hospital to provide 6-12 months of residential recovery services to 16 adults who have both mental health and substance use disorders. Recovery Specialists assist individuals with their recovery process as they live with substance addiction and mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Talk with individuals, help them problem solve, and be a compassionate support.
• Build relationships with residents during meal times.
• Plan and facilitate activities, treatment groups, and outings.
• Prepare meals according to a menu and share meal time with residents.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Work in a co-ed environment.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and a compassion for those who are struggling.
