About the role
Sinnissippi Centers is seeking a full-time individual to join our team at the Women's Recovery Home. This position will supervise residents in recovery housing, participate in treatment services, and provide various support services.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise residents in recovery housing.
- Participate as a team member in delivering treatment services to clients and their families.
- Facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
- Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate the development of independent living skills.
- Provide transportation to and from school, jobs, counseling services, 12-step meetings, medical services, recreational activities, etc., when public transportation is not an option.
- Aid in planning menus with residents and shopping for household items.
- Supervise all daily activities, including house jobs, study halls, menu planning, shopping, cooking meals, free time, etc.
- Maintain patient service records consistent with regulations.
- Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
- Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the professional Code of Ethics and within the framework of the law.
- Exercise positive guest relations in representing the agency.
Requirements
- Must have an interest in substance abuse recovery support.
- IADAPCA certification preferred but may be obtained within 2 years of employment.
- Hours may vary and might include some evenings and weekends.
Pay
$18.97 - $19.92 per hour
