About the role

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Residential Program Manager to oversee a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. The role involves ensuring clinical and medical services are provided appropriately, mentoring and supervising staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and assisting individuals in various aspects of their Individualized Programs (IP).

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, develop, and supervise shift supervisors and direct care staff.
  • Ensure adherence to all DDS, funding agency, and state regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor staffing schedule.
  • Aid in writing clinical assessments and overseeing ISP assessments.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities as required.
  • Assist and instruct individuals in all aspects of their IP.
  • Administer medication when required.
  • Provide in-house and agency-contracted training and consultation services.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist and instruct residents with daily living skills, behavioral and habilitative plans, medical, psychiatric, and socio-emotional needs.
  • Work with the People Team to plan and implement corrective action when necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience providing support to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, experience using Therap.

Qualifications

  • Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.
  • Valid Driver’s License with at least 3 years of driving experience.

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities and related support services.

Pay

$44,000 starting salary.
