Job Description
- Coordinate services related to finances, activities, healthcare, nutrition, household management, and educational/vocational programs.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate program coverage.
- Aid the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual supports, and team communication.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to staff and support team members.
- Perform direct support duties during assigned shifts, including personal cares, meal preparation, transportation, and other activities of daily living.
- Promote person-centered supports that foster independence, choice, dignity, and positive outcomes.
- Absorb and maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment, including general housekeeping and upkeep tasks.
- Communicate program, household, medical, behavioral, and staffing needs to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and provide direct support for extended periods.
- Ability to safely transfer, reposition, and assist individuals in accordance with established safety guidelines.
- Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds.
Skills & Abilities
- Prior experience in residential services preferred.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to document services, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.
- Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to support individuals using a person-centered approach that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.

- Schedules: Full-time shift (All persons in this position should be prepared to work some weekend shifts and holidays.)
