Residential HVAC Service Technician - SIGN ON BONUS UP TO 5,000

About the role

Roscoe Brown Inc. has been in business in Middle Tennessee since 1940. We are currently hiring skilled HVAC Residential Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial or residential customers.
• Use dig volt meters and electronic tools to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure customers have healthy home and living conditions by providing daily work to maintain systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers to help them make informed and confident buying decisions.
• Work independently and efficiently, ensuring jobs are completed correctly the first time.
• Generate customer invoices and payments at job sites, and maintain proper stock, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Document all necessary pieces when working on a system/unit and communicate with customers about the work being completed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and reside in Tennessee at the time of hire and maintain residency throughout employment.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Must have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of HVAC Residential systems.
• Have a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical components of HVAC Residential systems.
• Be able to follow written and verbal directions from managers and leadership.
• Have excellent customer service skills with customers and office staff.
• Be self-motivated and willing to teach and motivate helpers, peers, and fellow technicians.
