Residential HVAC Service Technician
Summary
This position seeks entry-level and experienced technicians to perform residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the master level. Primarily responsible for installs, repairs, and maintenance of various HVAC equipment.
About the role
Responsible for performing installs, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.
Responsibilities
- Performs installs, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment
- Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and advanced electronics of systems
- Troubleshoots and repairs advanced piping systems, including copper, plastic, and carbon steel
- Knowledge of energy conservation practices/equipment as it relates to residential HVAC and air quality/filtering systems
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent GED
- 5+ years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service
- EPA Certification
- Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Qualifications
Understanding of HVAC equipment and advanced electronics, knowledge of energy conservation practices, ability to troubleshoot and repair advanced piping systems, knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment.
