About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems
- Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions
- Install new HVAC equipment as needed
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide service recommendations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- At least 2 years of related experience in HVAC field
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
