Residential HVAC Market Manager

Job Summary A Market Manager plays an integral role in building, maintaining, and growing customer and vendor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing internal product recommendations. As a Market Manager, you will represent a trusted HVAC and Refrigeration industry wholesaler, providing expertise and sales support to customers, vendors, and CPE staff. Responsibilities Vendor Management Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, and become the day-to-day contact for vendors such as Bosch, Rectorseal, Aprilaire, Nu-Calgon, Nidec, and other vendors as assignedPromote and support selective vendor programs internally and with customersTrack programs and promotions for ROI purposesWork with vendors and the internal marketing team to develop a strategy on how to spend and maximize the use of vendor advertising and co-op funds within budget. Work with the internal accounting team to coordinate and track vendor reimbursementCreate a plan for products annually, which will include sales goals, budgets, targeted customers, training, and more.Help provide product content for CPE online toolsSales Support Develop programs to help the internal sales team grow existing dealersCoordinate with the internal sales team to grow product lines and meet their needsAnalyze market penetration and develop new dealers appropriately Assist branches in product knowledge, including add-on/optional products and cross referencesCoordinate with the internal team to plan dealer meetingsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with dealers and customersDevelop strategies to assist customers in growing their businessEnsure dealers are taking full advantage of vendor-designed programsAssist customers in capitalizing on vendor co-op funds Internal Support Work closely with the internal purchasing group to make recommendations for stocking and pricing productsAssist the Service & Support Group to identify and coordinate internal and external training needsAssist Territory Managers with sales support to key dealers and customersAssist with the planning, execution, and attendance of customer appreciation daysOther tasks as assigned Qualifications Experience & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales and market managementAbility to conduct both in-person and virtual meetings/trainingsBasic computer skills (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)HVACR, or other relevant professional/technical experience preferred Ability to work with customers, vendors, and other employees in a courteous, professional mannerAmbitious, self-directing, and proactiveAbility to work on your own or as a team, and lead when necessaryComfortable speaking in front of all sizes of groups of people Ability to listen and communicate by phone, writing, and in-person in a professional and prompt mannerAbility to successfully prioritize and conduct the various tasks dailyDesire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace Desire to work in a positive, courteous, professional, and teamwork-oriented environment Education High school diploma or GED required, additional certification or coursework from a college or technical school desirable Physical Demands Office work environment.
