Residential HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and thermostats
• Perform system replacements, upgrades, and new installations following manufacturer specifications, standards, and codes
• Properly remove and dispose of existing equipment, ensure systems are tested and functioning correctly
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites while protecting customer property
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain system operation, and address questions
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Qualifications & Skills

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Proficiency in installing HVAC equipment, troubleshooting, and interpreting technical diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, motivated, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass background checks
