About the role

The Hattie Larlham Residential Coordinator (RC) performs all of the responsibilities and duties of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) and is responsible for health care, nutrition, and household management for the individuals served.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties of a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
  • Manage health care, nutrition, and household tasks for individuals served

Requirements

  • Previous direct care experience in a related field
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ohio Driver's license with five points or less, and current auto insurance
  • Personal vehicle with proof of liability insurance
  • Sufficient physical strength to lift and assist individuals

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of patience, compassion, and empathy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Detail-oriented to ensure all regulatory paperwork is completed correctly
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a non-threatening manner
  • Proficient in team building and ability to direct others
  • High ethics and values, able to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Starting rate: $20.00/hour + shift differential

Schedule

1st shift, Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
