Responsibilities
- Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
- Aid with personal hygiene
- Facilitate fun activities
- Follow medical orders and administer medications
- Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Assist with lifting and transferring (including ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc.)
- Provide adaptive transportation
- Offer choices for daily activities to promote entertainment and community outings
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Drivers' license
- Clean driving record and successful completion of assigned drivers training
- Minimum one weekend shift per week
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
- Professional, cooperative interaction with agency clients and personnel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency
