RESIDENTIAL DSP PT, OAKVILLE, SAT-SUN, 7AM-3PM, 16 HOURS WEEKLY

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
• Aid with personal hygiene
• Facilitate fun activities
• Follow medical orders and administer medications
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Lift and transfer (including ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc.)
• Adaptive transportation
• Offer choices for daily activities to promote entertainment and community outings

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Drivers' license
• Clean driving record and successful completion of assigned drivers training
• A minimum of one weekend shift per week
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Professional and cooperative interaction with agency clients and personnel
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer proficiency

Qualifications

Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Benefits

This position requires 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office from Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM (UCP HEARTLAND pays you for the mandatory training).
