About the role
This position serves as Residential Coordinator at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA).
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily operations of the residential program for children and adolescents
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision to nursing and direct care staff
- Develops and implements individual treatment plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures
- Monitors the quality of care and services provided to residents
- Manages staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborates with families, guardians, and external agencies
- Coordinates admission, discharge, and transition planning for residents
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or management capacity
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a residential, psychiatric, or similar healthcare setting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
- Ability to manage crisis situations and make sound clinical decisions
- Familiarity with electronic health records and data management systems
Pay
$106,087.00 – $167,304.00 per year (salary negotiable).
