Residential Coordinator/ Facility for Children (Registered Nurse Manager Med, CI) - #26-004873-0001

About the role

This position serves as Residential Coordinator at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA).

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the residential program for children and adolescents
• Provides clinical and administrative supervision to nursing and direct care staff
• Develops and implements individual treatment plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures
• Monitors the quality of care and services provided to residents
• Manages staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Collaborates with families, guardians, and external agencies
• Coordinates admission, discharge, and transition planning for residents

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a supervisory or management capacity
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a residential, psychiatric, or similar healthcare setting

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
• Ability to manage crisis situations and make sound clinical decisions
• Familiarity with electronic health records and data management systems

Pay

$106,087.00 – $167,304.00 per year (salary negotiable).
