Residential Construction Superintendent

Job Description

The Residential Construction Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing the construction of high-end luxury homes. This position requires a hands-on approach, as the superintendent will lead subcontractors and internal staff on various projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–2+ active jobs, adjusting site presence as required
• Cook up, schedule, and supervise subcontractors across various trades
• Perform daily logs and manage quality, safety, and site cleanliness
• Engage in hands-on work during project initiation and closeout phases
• Conduct occasional light carpentry and repairs as needed
• Travel to suppliers and maintain organized job sites and vehicles

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass a state driving safety course
• Willingness to work hands-on when necessary
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Commitment to maintaining organized job sites and vehicles
• A carpentry background is preferred
• Broad residential construction knowledge across trades is preferred
• Prior superintendent experience on custom residential projects is preferred
• Education is valued but not required
• Tool ownership is preferred
