About the role

The Clinical Supervisor of Secure Residential Treatment Facilities at Community Counseling Solutions is responsible for providing clinical supervision and oversight to assigned clinicians and Qualified Mental Health Associates. They ensure adherence to relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR’s), monitor quality assurance, and develop and monitor treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clinical staff adhere to highest clinical standards and CCS philosophy and policy.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and ensure CCS meets or exceeds clinical outcomes.
  • Review and approve clinical staff paperwork for professionalism and timeliness.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to maintain high-quality clinical work.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and crisis services.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee discipline.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide positive leadership.
  • Report cases of abuse or neglect to appropriate agencies.
  • Maintain caseload and provide quality individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Schedule and participate in meetings with other agencies.
  • Communicate with the public and assist with community boards and committees.
  • Transport clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Clinical Supervisor I: Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, or related field with 2 years of post-graduate experience in clinical services. Preferred supervisor experience.
  • Clinical Supervisor II: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license with 5 years of experience in clinical services. Prefer 3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mental illness and addiction treatments, counseling principles, and decision-making.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain detailed records, communicate with diverse populations, and interpret regulations.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability for client service and travel.
  • Excellent typing skills and proficiency in basic office software.

Skills

  • Independent judgment, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination with staff, consultants, agencies, and the public.
  • Understanding and application of mental health and chemical dependency laws and regulations.
  • Ability to learn and implement CCS procedures, regulations, and requirements.

Pay

Pay grades for Clinical Supervisor I and II range from $65,500 to $98,300 annually and $78,600 to $119,500 annually, respectively, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time employment (1.0 FTE) with expectations to work 40 hours per week.
