About the role

The Boiler Service & Installation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential boiler and hydronic heating systems. This role involves diagnosing system issues, performing preventative maintenance, installing new equipment, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential boiler and hydronic heating systems
• Diagnose system issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• 5+ years of experience operating and maintaining boiler systems
• Boiler Operator's certification is a plus
• Knowledge of boiler systems, controls, mechanical equipment, and steam systems
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic proficiency in computer applications for monitoring and reporting
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varying temperatures or environments

Pay

$40+ per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday; occasional overtime may be required
