About the role
The Residential Advocate is responsible for providing support and guidance to residents in need of assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with accessing necessary resources and services
- Provide emotional support and counseling to residents
- Document interactions and progress with residents
- Collaborate with other departments to address resident needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services or counseling
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Knowledge of local community resources
