Minimum Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mental health experience preferred
- Availability to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Job Duties/Skills Required
- Complete daily checks of the premises and each resident’s room to ensure safety and security, to address any potential safety hazards such as debris, clutter, trip hazards, electrical/ fire hazards, and sanitary concerns.
- Welcome and orient new residents; assist with check-in and check-out processes for shelters or housing programs.
- Absorb and teach residents skills training activities (making bed, laundry, cleaning, etc.).
- Accompany residents to other areas of the facility ensuring the security of facility belongings.
- Perform hourly bed checks during all shifts.
- Follow and complete chore lists to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
- Document the residents’ progress and maintain clinical record in accordance with all licensing and accreditation requirements and the residents’ individual housing and service plans.
- Address and resolve resident complaints, reporting outcomes to the supervisor.
- Complete and submit required reports, including vehicle logs, maintenance logs, time sheets, and inventories.
- Stay informed on behavioral health symptoms, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of each resident’s medical, social, and behavioral needs, services received, medications, and provider contacts.
- Engage and assess clients’ barriers to housing and educate/ assist with available resources.
- Cook and coordinate with community resources and services that are on clients housing/service plans.
