About the role
OHB is committed to supporting youth with compassion, dignity, and respect. As a Youth Advocate, you'll help young people build essential life skills in education, health, housing, relationships, and employment. You will be a steady, encouraging presence—someone they can rely on during pivotal moments in their lives.
What You'll Do
- Support youth in developing key life skills
- Guide clients through daily activities and routines
- Provide positive reinforcement, coaching, and structure
- Create a safe, uplifting environment that promotes growth
- Collaborate with team members to ensure client success
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate
Available Schedules
- Wednesday: 4pm–10pm
- Thursday: 8am–6pm
- Friday: 10am–10pm
- Saturday: 10am–10pm
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Wage: $16.50–$18.50 per hour
- Weekend shift differentials

Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience (or equivalent education/experience)
- Understanding of youth behaviors and willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent under stress
- Ability to implement motivational systems positively
- Basic first aid knowledge; CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
