About the role
Rasmussen University is seeking Part-Time Adjunct instructors to teach within the Nursing program at our Mankato campus. Teaching roles allow instructors to work in the field while exploring academia and engaging future nurses.
Responsibilities
- Teaching lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses as assigned.
- Using effective teaching strategies and multiple teaching techniques.
- Creating high levels of student engagement through various activities, community building, and student-centered learning.
- Teaching and modeling appropriate learning skills and creating an environment conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
- Engaging in synchronous learning sessions with students using live classroom tools.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Documented experience in leadership roles.
- One year of clinical experience as an RN, two years preferred.
- Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
- Official transcripts from accredited institutions.
- Active CPR certification from the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross.
- Applicable faculty immunization documentation.
