Residential Adjunct Instructor - Leadership and Professional Identity Clinical

About the role

Rasmussen University is seeking Part-Time Adjunct instructors to teach within the Nursing program at our Mankato campus. Teaching roles allow instructors to work in the field while exploring academia and engaging future nurses.

Responsibilities

• Teaching lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses as assigned.
• Using effective teaching strategies and multiple teaching techniques.
• Creating high levels of student engagement through various activities, community building, and student-centered learning.
• Teaching and modeling appropriate learning skills and creating an environment conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
• Engaging in synchronous learning sessions with students using live classroom tools.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Documented experience in leadership roles.
• One year of clinical experience as an RN, two years preferred.
• Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Official transcripts from accredited institutions.
• Active CPR certification from the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross.
• Applicable faculty immunization documentation.
