About the role
Gorman & Company is seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-focused Resident Services Coordinator to support residents at two affordable housing communities, Avenida del Sol and Ruby Vista.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with residents and connect them with community resources and support services.
- Cook up educational, wellness, and social programming through partnerships with local agencies and organizations.
- Assess resident needs and identify opportunities to promote housing stability and overall well-being.
- Create and distribute monthly resident newsletters and activity calendars.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with resident services requirements and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with property management teams to address resident concerns and strengthen community engagement.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in social services, social work, behavioral health, nonprofit organizations, or a related field.
- Ability to build trust and establish positive relationships with diverse resident populations.
- Schedule: 32 Hours, four days per week, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between properties and community partner locations as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and projects.
